Today, I had so much fun with my girls and boys. It was so nice seeing you Iza Boo, Rochelle, Te, B, Babes, Manuel, Jem girl and Pet! And I could never forget the amazing Val who stalked me 'till the day I finally came to visit and whom on his own, scooped me a cone of dirty ice cream and Erwin, the forever nice, in love and gentleman who got me free ice cream. Oh, and i can never forget catching up with the other Soc. Sci. majors. T'was really nice seeing Jem and his new girls, nice seeing you too guys. Hello, fresh faces. :P
Srsly guys, college is so problematic. Thank God I skipped it this year. LOL. Kidding.
If it isn't about tough, terror professors, it's about friends, enemies and frenemies.
A piece of advice though, the college phase is nothing compared to real life. Maybe it's just my post-work self speaking but that's pretty much the truth. Yes, it's problematic, rather chaotic; yes, you will absolutely miss school too much; and yes, playing around is not much of a lifestyle. But, there is a life beyond douche bags, bitches and morons. I was out of school for almost 2 months or so and had worked for about a month, and it took me only 29 days to know that there's much more to learn about life that you can learn by trying to be a little less selfish. I learn a lot about real life than I had ever learned in school. You see, I've worked for 29 days and been in school for 14 years now. There a whole lot of difference if you just let yourself see.
Don't get me wrong though, school is so much fun too. They say education shapes us to become better version of ourselves in the future, perhaps maybe we should stop thinking and start doing. At 18, I am lucky enough to know these things. I mean yes, you use your parents as a forever online ATM machine, you go to school to chill with your friends, you get to make mistakes and not clean up your mess, trust me, I was once there and that was hell of a lot of fun to do, but most importantly you don't worry about tuition fees, bills, rent, taxes, jobs and all those far more important things. I'm not saying you should worry it at the moment, just appreciate what people do for you and help rather than continuously punishing them.
To put it simply, stop living and looking for the drama. Stop fighting and just don't give a fuck if they look at you badly or say something crappy about you. In few years time, you're not even going to remember the person who said those things. Just prove them wrong.Don't live your lives trying to bring each other down, use your college life for something better, use it as a start for your future not bitching around with people you're probably not gonna see anymore the moment you graduate.
Take it from someone who's been in all sorts of situation except death. I get to taste life finest shit. I'm a fish out of water living in between. It's not so much fun being treated like an adult when all you want is to explore your options. They say you can't live the best of both worlds, unfortunately for me, I live to struggle with the best of all the worlds.
P.S. It's so weird, I found my black cat outside the window.
