8 years ago, i met this modelesque, tall girl. And through the years we seemed to be inseparable, mainly because my surname starts with a V and hers with a Y and second, because we've grown closer. Our friendship goes beyond the bounds of school crushes, relationships, home works or lunch breaks. I can honestly say that she knew me inside out. It's safe to say that she is my best friend and has been the only best friend I ever had since then. We were very much aware of our flaws and we loved and accepted each other despite that. Our friendship was built on pure love and we never judged each other at any point. Even through the tough times, Amanda and I stuck it out together. We were partners for book reports, we were lunch buddies, we talked on the phone for hours and trust me, at the back of my mind i still have your number memorized, we were buddies for 5 field trips even if we fought and i was pretty sure that when we were in grade school no one could see me without her or the other way around. I've seen her grow, and i've seen her hair grow from long to short to extremely short hair. And because of this, even if time and distance separated us, i still hold on to the promise i made to you 8 years ago, I will always be here for you and you, Amanda Yamsuan, will always be the best best friend i ever had and i will continually look for. Thank you for everything. Believe me, I am not who I am right now, if it weren't for someone like you. I owe you a lot. And I know you have tons of friends you could go to when you need advice, but when you need me, for anything, I'm always here, just one PM or text away. I wish you whatever your heart desires, because God knows you deserve it for being an extraordinary person. And for that, Happy Birthday, I love you and I miss you.
Only for the birthday girl Amanda Yamsuan. I LOVE YOU TO BITS. And, I miss you. I'm sorry I can't come today. Cool invite, though.
